Atlas villages and Mount Toubkal, 6-day guided trek from Marrakech and Imlil. Four days of valleys, then the summit attempt. Max 8 per guide. From €880 per person.
The 6-day Atlas villages and Mount Toubkal trek is the slow way to do it, and the way most people say they would do it again. Four days of walking through High Atlas valleys, passes and villages come first, so by the time you reach the Toubkal refuge you are fit, acclimatized and in no hurry. Then comes the summit attempt at 4,167 m and the descent.
The route
You can start in Imlil or take a Marrakech transfer by quote. The valley and pass route is proposed and we fine-tune it with you for the season, your pace and trail access. Expect long walking days, simple village lodging and meals prepared by the muleteer. The summit is never guaranteed.
Who it suits
Fit walkers who want time in the mountains, not a race to the top. Maximum 8 guests per guide.
Included / Excluded
Included: a licensed mountain guide, a muleteer and mules to carry luggage and kitchen gear, and meals prepared on the trail by the muleteer. Lodging type, meal plan and transfers are written into your quote.
Excluded: flights, personal travel insurance, tips, and any Marrakech transfer unless you add it. Crampons can be rented in Imlil if the snow calls for them.
What to bring
Sturdy broken-in boots, layers for cold mornings at altitude, a warm hat and gloves, a head torch, sun protection and a water bottle. We send a full packing list when you book.
Ask for your quote
Send us your dates and group size and we will reply within 24 hours with a written quote. Nothing is reserved and you pay nothing to ask.
Ask whether a date is available. A request is not a booking. We confirm or cancel a group departure 21 days before it starts, once at least five travelers have booked. If it does not run, ask us about another date or a private quote.
Lodging type, meal plan and transfers are written into your quote.
